seeCal

What's next, in the menu bar. seeCal reads your calendars and puts the current or next meeting where you already look, so most days you never open a calendar to find out.

It asks, you answer once

seeCal is not another calendar app. It is where the questions your calendar can't answer for itself get asked, and answered, once.

What you answer, it learns. The all-day events that cluttered one calendar came down to two rules instead of sixty-one settings.

Help me get to it

Each meeting carries what you need to act on it: Join the call, open the place in Maps, or send it to your iPhone on the way out.

Nothing changes without you

Nothing writes to your calendar directly. Apps that want your time raise a proposal with a reason, and it waits for a yes. Every one is recorded, so there is always an account of what asked for what.

Honest about what it knows

When seeCal can't see your calendar, it says so, and says how old its last answer is. An answer that is confidently wrong is worse than one that admits it is stale.

Where it runs

The Mac menu bar first, and iPhone for answering away from the desk. It reads Google Calendar, Microsoft 365 work calendars (set up one organisation at a time) and public feeds such as holidays and fixtures.

Join the waitlist

seeCal has one user today: the person who built it. Join and you get one email to say you're on the list, and the next when it opens to more people. Your address is used for nothing else (privacy).
